Remodeling in Oakland, CA

Oakland is home, and it's where we do the most work. The housing here runs from craftsman bungalows and 1920s Spanish-style homes in the Dimond, Glenview and Laurel to mid-century houses up in the hills — and a lot of them still have the original kitchen and bathroom, or one that was redone a few decades ago and has worn out since.

Older Oakland homes reward a careful remodeler. Walls are rarely square, floors are rarely flat, and what's behind the plaster is often a surprise. We open things up, deal with what we find, and build the new kitchen, bathroom or floor so it sits right in a house that has settled for a hundred years.
