How much does a remodel cost?

It depends on the size of the room, the materials you choose, and what we find once the old finishes come out. A tile backsplash and a full kitchen remodel are very different numbers. We give free on-site estimates and put the whole scope in writing, so you have a clear price before any work starts.

What hours are you open?

Accepted Answer

Monday through Saturday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Saturday appointments are available at no extra charge, which is often the easiest time for homeowners to walk through the project with us.

Do you offer any discount?

Accepted Answer

Yes — if a past customer, friend or neighbor referred you, take 15% off your project. Most of our work comes from word of mouth, so we'd rather reward that than spend it on advertising.

Do you do the whole kitchen or bathroom, or just parts of it?

Accepted Answer

Either. We handle complete kitchen and bathroom remodels from tear-out to final paint, and we also take on individual jobs — just new tile, just a floor, just paint — if that's all you need.

Can you remove a wall to open up my floor plan?

Accepted Answer

Usually, yes. We check first whether the wall is load-bearing and what runs through it. A non-load-bearing wall is a straightforward removal and patch. A load-bearing wall can still come out, but it needs an engineered beam and a city permit, and we'll explain what that involves before we give you a price.

Should I choose laminate or tile flooring?

It depends on the room. Tile is the right choice for bathrooms, laundry rooms and anywhere water sits on the floor. Laminate is warmer, quieter and faster to install, which makes it ideal for living rooms, bedrooms and hallways. Kitchens can go either way — we'll give you a straight recommendation for each room.

How long does a bathroom or kitchen remodel take?

A bathroom remodel typically takes one to three weeks depending on size and tile work. A kitchen usually runs three to six weeks, and much of that depends on when cabinets and countertops arrive. We give you a schedule up front and keep you updated if anything changes.

Question 9

Do I need to move out during the remodel?

Accepted Answer

Almost never. We seal off the work area to keep dust contained, protect the rest of the house, and clean up at the end of each day. For a kitchen remodel, we'll help you plan a temporary setup so you can still make coffee and simple meals.

Question 10

Do you haul away the old materials?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Old cabinets, tile, flooring and debris leave with us, and the job site is cleaned before we hand the space back to you.
